We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking Customer Assistants to join our supermarket team in London on a temporary basis during our busy trading period. You’ll be at the heart of the store, helping to make sure our customers have a great shopping experience from start to finish.
This is a fast-paced and hands-on role where you’ll be involved in everything from serving customers at the tills to keeping the shelves fully stocked and the store looking its best. If you’re energetic, enjoy working as part of a team, and love helping people, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding service to every customer, ensuring their shopping experience is positive and friendly.
Operate tills, process transactions, and handle payments accurately.
Replenish shelves, rotate stock, and maintain attractive displays.
Support with deliveries, stock control, and backroom organisation.
Keep the store clean, tidy, and safe for customers and colleagues.
Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and maintain store standards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
A great team player who enjoys working in a busy environment.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to get stuck in.
Good communication and attention to detail.
Previous retail or supermarket experience is helpful but not required — full training will be provided.
